As of NHC advisory 3 (Oct 7 09:00 UTC), Tropical Storm Isaias was centered near 22.0°N 94.1°W, about 220 miles (360 km) ENE of Túxpam de Rodríguez Cano, Mexico. Maximum sustained winds were 40 mph (65 km/h), making it a tropical storm, with a minimum central pressure of 1004 mb. It was moving ENE at 8 mph (13 km/h).

  1. 01There is an increasing risk of dangerous wind and storm surge impacts along portions of the northern Gulf Coast. Residents from Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle should closely monitor the latest forecast updates and ensure they have their hurricane plan in place. Hurricane and Storm Surge Watches will likely be required for a portion of the northern Gulf coast later today.
